Ryan Hartwick is a fitness-focused professional that is passionate about helping people reach their goals. Safe, effective and efficient fitness programs are what get Ryan excited about personal training. He was a competitive basketball player for 10 years and remains active in various sports such as baseball and volleyball. Along with his love for training, Ryan enjoys golfing, working out with friends and cooking for his girlfriend.
Ryan is certified Can-Fit-Pro personal trainer with a good knowledge of nutrition. “You can’t out train a poor diet.” He believes in continued fitness education and is an active reader of many current professional publications. Positive reinforcement and his openness to new training methods are important characteristics he feels make a great trainer.
When exercising in a gym environment it can be very intimidating. It’s important to feel comfortable and have an organized training program so you are not wasting your time. What I tell prospective clients is this, you might reach your goals on your own but you’ll reach them faster with me.
Whatever your fitness goals may be, weight loss, general maintenance or sport specific training it all can be achieved through compound strength training and conditioning. Isolation exercises are good for aesthetics but compound training will burn fat faster and build better overall functional strength. Conditioning is a key component of a great fitness routine. It includes circuit-training principles and is one of the greatest tools for fat loss.
